Description:Spice Paste For Cantonese Claypot Rice
A simple one-pot rice dish best cooked with fragrant Chinese sausages and bacon for a smoky exotic aroma.

No Added MSG, Preservatives Or Artificial Colours.

Cantonese Claypot Rice (Serves 4):
Ingredients:
1 packet Cantonese Claypot Rice Spice Paste
2 tbsp vegetable oil
100g (3.5 oz) Chinese sausage or chicken sausages, thinly sliced
250g (1/2 lb) boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
3 cups (600g) cooked rice
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
5 mushrooms
Chopped coriander or sliced spring onions as garnish

Cooking Instructions:
1. Heat oil in non-stick wok on medium heat. Add chicken, mushrooms and sausages. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes
2. Add rice, spice paste and soy sauce. Stir-fry for 2 minutes
3. Transfer to a claypot or rice cooker. Cover and cook gently for 5 minutes on low heat. Garnish and serve hot

Cooking Tip: Put 1 1/2 cups (300g) uncooked rice, 1 3/4 cups (390 ml) water, spice paste and meat in the rice cooker. Mix well and set for cooking. Season to taste with soy sauce.
