Masman curry seems to be the only kaeng praised in the Thai historic poem, memorised in the heart of every Thai student. Cumin, cardamom and cloves give this curry a strong and sensational flavour. Anyone who ever tasted it will ask for more.

Kaeng Masman
1. Heat a skillet and add 1 cup (240 ml) coconut milk together with contents of this packet
2. Add 250g sliced beef or chicken and stir-fry until done. Add 1 cup (240 ml) water. Bring to a boil
3. Add some potato and peanut. Cook until tender
4. Add fish sauce to taste. Serve with cooked rice
