Sesame seeds hulled are basically sesame seeds with the outer skin, known as husk, removed. They're often used in Chinese cooking, desserts, casserole toppings, plus many other dishes. When toasted, their flavour intensifies and they are extremely flavourful sprinkled on salads and soups.

Recipe For Quick Chicken And Sesame Skewers
Ingredients:
100g chicken breast, cut into strips, 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp hulled sesame seeds, handful of fresh parsley leaves
Methods:
Soak two wooden skewers in a bowl of cold water for ten minutes. Meanwhile, on a stove heat a frying pan and toast the sesame seeds for 3-5 minutes until they darken and become fragrant. Leave them to cool. Thread the chicken strips onto the skewers and drizzle over half of the olive oil. Heat a griddle pan until it's smoking and cook the chicken skewers until golden brown and cooked through. When the chicken is cooked, transfer onto a plate and drizzle over the honey and sprinkle over the sesame seeds. Toss the parsley leaves with the remaining olive oil and drizzle on the plate next to the chicken skewers.
