Bags For Charity – Month 5

Thanks for all your donations towards our ‘Bags For Charity’ scheme, where all proceeds from our 5p carrier bags go to the Under Privileged Children’s Charity (UPCC). The equivalent of tens of thousands of bags have been re-used and we’ve noticed that many of you have been remembering to bring your reusable bags!

The average plastic carrier bag is used for five minutes, but takes 500 years to decompose. – DEFRA, the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs.

This month’s total was £58.30! This brings the running total raised for the UPCC to over £600!
