Bristol Chinese New Year Events 2013

Year Of The SnakeWith Chinese Year of the Snake fast approaching, we take a look at what the local Chinese associations have planned for this Chinese New Year.

Overseas Chinese Association, Bristol

Tickets cost £38 per person (£30 for members of OCA) and £20 for concessions. All proceeds will go to the Overseas Chinese Association (Charity No. 1068751), and used to provide services for the local Chinese community, both young and old.

The evening’s entertainment includes:

  • Unicorn Dance
  • Chinese and English Cabaret
  • Prize draw

Raffle tickets may be purchased on the night for the chance of winning some fantastic prizes. This includes a 1st prize of a return flight to Hong Kong!

Last, but not least, we shall be hosting our very own Chinese New Year celebrations, with a live Chinese firecracker, and lion dances from Yi Quin lion dance troupe, as well as many other surprises!
